We're the family behind Live Play Grow
We are two parents and two kids who believe that the best way to raise curious, confident humans is to show them the world — one adventure at a time.
Our story
Live Play Grow started on a Tuesday afternoon in our backyard, with a tent, a string of lights, and two kids who thought they had travelled to the ends of the earth.
We realized we did not need to wait for the "big trip" to give our kids a sense of adventure. It was already here — in the local greenway, the tidepools an hour away, the road trips with the windows down.
So we started writing it down. The triumphs, the meltdowns, the packing lists we actually used, and the tips we wish someone had told us. This journal is the result — part memory-keeping, part field guide for families who want to get outside more.

Adventure is a mindset
You do not need a plane ticket. A backyard, a local trail, or a new street can be an adventure if you approach it with curiosity.

We share the meltdowns and the wrong turns alongside the magic, because that is what real family travel looks like.
